Sacramental Preparation


The Diocese of Scranton requires a 6 month preparation period leading to an intended marriage.  Couples entering married life are asked to call the Parish Office before making additional plans.


Parents requesting a Baptism are required to attend a Baptism preparation class.  Please call the Parish Office to make arrangements at (570) 443-9944

Right of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

Adults, Baptized or not, interested in inquiring about Confirmation or full participation in the Church are asked to call the Parish Office.

Reconciliation (Penance)

Confessions are heard each Saturday from 4:00 to 4:30 pm in the vesting room of the Church.  Also on the first Friday of every month at 7:30 am.  In addition, confessions can be heard at any time by appointment. 

First Friday Calls

Please call the Parish Office if you know of a parishioner who is home-bound.  Every effort is made to bring Communion at least once a month.
